Impromptu Ride to Kingman

The ride to Kingman this morning was very nice.  Temps were in the 80's on the way up and in the 90's most of the way home. Thermometer finally cracked 100 at about the 303 and the 10.  Tom did an excellent job of leading; keeping a good pace and not getting lost.  Tom kept the group together nicely from the sweep position; no one was left behind.  Tom guided the group to the Rt 66 sign and then to Mother Road HD.  Savannah from the Hrley shop recommended Oysters Mexican food for lunch.  Tom won the dollars game there.  Tom then led the group back to DWHD for ice cream and to get miles logged for the Ride for Heros Challenge.  Tom got the registration sticker and his 1,000 mile coin.  He also earned the 5,000 mile hat.  Yvonne will get the hat to him later.
