CHUCK: Chuck gave a slide show and presentation about a ride he took this past week with friends up to Utah. Featuring fun in the sun with a boat ride at the lake and a visit to Zion and ending up in Las Vegas. He encouraged other members to plan rides themselves with their friends and meet new people outside of EV HOG. Be careful buying national park passes. Some people are entitled to discounts or even free passes. Check before buying to see if you qualify for free or discounted passes.

Discover Arizona: Drawing for $25 GC won by Pepper.

Went over the HOG rallies of 2025. Encouraged members to consider the Sturgis rally coming up in August. Gave some highlights of what goes on at the Sturgis rallies and all the good riding around the area. He announced that he would be stepping down as Director at the end of this year. Encourage other members to consider the possibility of one of them stepping up as director. Also announced the stepping down of Cheryl Printz as Activities and Pepper As Secretary. These positions will be open at the end of 2025 if anyone is interested in stepping up and filling them.

DW: Yvonne: Thanked Rodney Schade for helping out with the Test Rides event on July 12, 2025. Events coming up: Cruise & Coffee 7/19. 9am-12. Annual Luau Open House 7/26 4pm. Harley’s After Dark: 7/31 5pm-9pm. Chance to will a grill.

JORGE: He is planning an overnight ride to Bisbee in October around Halloween.

TOM: Out of town.

PAUL: $7745.00 is in the account.

TERRY: Gave a presentation about the Riding Academy giving a 4 hr. safety class on August 17, 6am-10am.Cost is $40.00. Also let us know that AMSAF (Arizona Motorcycle Safety Awareness) has scholarship money for their Helmet Program. Make a $100 donation to the Helmet program, purchase an ADOT helmet $400.00 or more and receive discounts toward a new helmet at approved dealerships. EV ABATE Coordinator, Joe Silk gave a thank you to Rodney and Erin Schade for their presentation of the MAP program in Flagstaff in June 2025.

ERIN: The HD Pig’s name is Johnny. Gave us some history on some of the longest motorcycle rides and who did them.1. Emillo Scotto from Argentina rode 456,729 miles visiting 279 countries in 10 years. Then wrote a book called The Longest Ride. And another person rode across the US for 35hrs and didn’t put his feet down once.
