Six EVHOGs and a guest set out on a beautiful Saturday morning. Temps were warming as we left, but settled to a comfortable ride as we ascended the mountains.
After a nice breakfast in Pine, Mark wisely decided to return home with a rear tire concern. The rest of us continued through Camp Verde and into Sedona.
Sedona was pretty slow when we got there. We all agreed that it was bad, but we've seen worse. Traffic cleared as we got into Oak Creek Canyon for a great run into Flagstaff. Both gas stations on our route lost power and were unable to pump gas so we backtracked into Flagstaff to find a working station.
We rode Lake Mary Road back to Payson. There wasn't a lot of water in the lakes. We stopped for gas and some snacks in Payson before coming back into the Valley and going our separate ways.
A fun ride with great people.
