6/7/25 Ride to Williams

7 Bikes/Riders departed DWH-D at 6am with the destination of Williams. We rode 101N to I-17 into Prescott Valley. Breakfast stop at BackBurner Family Restaurant did not disappoint. Food was good (especially the homemade biscuits) and our waitress Lisa was awesome. After breakfast and a gas stop, we rode through Ash Fork to I40 into historic downtown Williams. Downtown Williams had one side of the road blocked off and was lined from beginning of town to end of town with historic classic cars for the 11th Annual Car Show. This car show was spectacular and far more than any of us anticipated. After parking the bikes we decided to walk to the end of town and then back to view all the cars. But, at the end of town, we noticed the Canyon Coaster Adventure Park and decided “why not”. So five of us enjoyed the roller coaster ride. Definitely recommend doing it next time you are in Williams. Then we ventured back to the car show until someone mentioned ice cream. Well, we all know how that ended. Yep, ice cream enjoyed by everyone except Tom. Back outside to finish viewing the car show, placed a few riders in jail with only one call allowed, before departing Williams. Rode back via Lake Mary Road into Payson for our final stop. Cool gear was used and we rode back into the valley. It was an absolutely beautiful day to be riding. A bit warm the last few miles but overall great weather, laughs with everyone, and another memorable ride with EVHOG. The car show may become annual ride!!!! Thanks to Jorge and Tom for leading us there and back home safely. And thanks to all who joined the ride.
