9/29/25 Winkleman Loop

Four riders left DWHD to ride the Winkleman Loop.  The sun was out and the day got nicer throughout the ride.  AZ 177 had a little flood debris on the edge of the roadway in only a couple of places, and it didn’t affect the ride.

We stopped for breakfast at Maria’s where Jorge won dollars.  After a gas stop, we decided to avoid any possible flood/debris issues in Globe and turned west toward Oracle Junction and the Pinal Pioneer Parkway.  We stopped at the Tom Mix Memorial so Clem and Mark could get their Discover AZ picture.

Then it was a nice ride into Florence where we all split off to go home.
